The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is searching for an outstanding director of the school's Park Library.
The Park Library director must be an experienced professional librarian from an accredited School of Library and Information Science with at least five years of managerial experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, students, faculty, and/or researchers. Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility, as well as willingness to adjust to job duties as changes in technology and user needs dictate. Demonstrated teaching skills. Proven skills in instructional presentations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong commitment to public service.
